God is not waiting for you to choose Him. God's plan is not awaiting the outcome of your next whimsical decision. The thing made does not tell its Maker how it's going to be. The Lord God is not a desperate beggar waiting for the reprobate sinner to do something good for Him. Such foolishness is fleeting comfort to fools, who have no other comfort if God has not called them by His grace to the New Life in Him. But Pastor Turner points out that the absolute, providential will of the Lord God IS a wonderful comfort, and an eternal (yet present) blessing to His elect children.
