Citing evidence in the news, as well as personal experience, Pastor Turner calls upon the members of that church body involved in these violations to repent of their outrages. Evil cannot be overcome with evil. Evil cannot bring forth a greater good. Only good, as taught in the word of God can overcome evil. A lively faith in God rather than obsession with personal antics engaged in supposedly for God's sake are indicated as proper for Christian brethren. From a prior sermon "Secret Sins" the following admonition is repeated to those with ears to hear: THE BEST AND EASIEST RULE OF LIFE FOR THE BELIEVER IS THIS: Romans 14:23 for whatsoever is not of faith is sin. THIS RULE WILL SUFFICE AN HONEST HEARTED MAN IN HIS WALK AND LIFE WITH AND IN CHRIST: ALL DOUBTFUL ACTIONS OR THOUGHTS ARE PROHIBITED. IF YOU ARE UNSURE OF ANY ACTION, WORD, OR DEED, ENGAGE NOT IN IT. IF THERE IS ANY PROBABILTY THAT THE ACTION MIGHT BE SINFUL, OR IF THE WORD, THOUGHT OR DEED WOULD BE COMMITTED IN UNCERTAINTY AS TO ITS LAWFULLNESS, CEASE, ABSTAIN AND DESIST. THIS RULE WHEN ACTED UPON WILL CAST DOWN ALL WICKED IMAGINATIONS, HALT ALL WICKED AND FOOLISH WORDS, AND STIFLE EVERY WICKED DEED. THOSE WHO WOULD SUBMIT THEMSELVES TO GOD MUST RESIST THE DEVIL; TO RESIST THE DEVIL, ONE CANNOT BE IGNORANT OF HIS DEVICES, AND THOSE THAT RELY UPON THE WORD OF GOD,STUDYING IT, AND AVAILING THEMSELVES OF THE FULL ORDINANCES OF GOD WILL EVIDENCE IN THEIR WARFARE WITH SATAN A RESOLUTION TO HAVE THEIR SECRET SINS REVEALED TO THEM BY GOD, THAT THEY MIGHT REPENT AND REMAIN IN AGREEMENT WITH GOD AND WALK WITH HIM.
