Great Salvation For Great Sinners - a sermon by Pastor Nelson Turner of www.AV1611Reformation.com preached March 25, 2012
This sermon was preached by Pastor Nelson Turner on the Lord's Day March 25, 2012 from the word of God in the English language, the King James Bible (Authorized Version). The "Doctrines' of Grace" are demonstrated by a review of Bible examples of saved sinners -- specifically men and women we know ARE saints of God who engage in manifestly sinful acts even AFTER the Lord God has chosen them, and made their calling and election sure. Paul, Adam, Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Judah, David, Solomon, "the woman taken in adultery" among others are studied from the words of the King James Bible, and a reading from the works of John Bunyan as evidence of "a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners...". If the least of our sins is deserving of death, what an unimaginable debt would be owed for the multitude of grievous sins with which we plague our lives, were that penalty not forgiven, and the debt completely paid by Our Savior. We who are His have been ransomed at a great price. Indeed we owe Him everything for what He has done for us.
