"Speak To The Rock" a sermon delivered by Pastor Nelson Turner of www.AV1611Reformation.com on February 9, 2012 for the edification of the Elect saints of God concerning the One Mediator between God and man, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Rock of Salvation. Pastor Turner makes many significant points from Holy Scripture as found in the AV1611 King James Bible concerning the fact that it IS the Lord Jesus Christ who IS our Rock; not anyone or anything else. The act of Moses in striking at the rock twice to bring forth water for the Israelites wandering in the wilderness foreshadows the truth that the Lord Jesus Christ was smitten twice: He gave his back to the smiters(Isaiah 50:6); and He was smitten by God, the Father, for our transgressions (Isaiah 53:4-5.) And from the one sacrifice of Himself in obedience to the command of His Father, we who are His have been given access to the pure river of water of life proceeding from the throne of God and the Lamb, that we might never thirst, the Lord Himself giving us water that is a well of water springing up into eternal life.
